Dropped by the Federal building on 13th (parked in City Center), picked up the automatic extension form, filled it out, and filed it in the drop-box. Wasn't that easy? Hard not to play hookey despite (or because of) the bewildering crush of responsibilities and conflicting priorities. I know what I should really be doing (paying bills, writing the Be Book, reviewing chapters for the BP book, etc.).

B's getting her application together tonight for the Flight of the Mind women's writing retreat in June. She's so good and she doesn't fully realize it. I'm glad to see her going out on a limb, inconveniencing herself for her writing.
